Galen has modeled its organizational structure based on the successful 30-year democratic partnership of California Emergency Physicians (CEP), the leading provider of emergency services in California since 1975. As with CEP, Galen physicians share in the group’s ownership, participate in the decision making process, and receive their fair share of practice earnings.

Independent Practice Ownership
Galen physicians enjoy significant autonomy regarding day-to-day practice needs and economics. Each physician is an integral part of the hospital team and local community and has access to the resources of a large comprehensive management infrastructure with proven administrative and operational solutions.
