Galen Inpatient Physicians in conjunction with MedAmerica can offer hospital administrators customized solutions for inpatient care. Galen/MedAmerica can implement or support systems to:

• manage existing inpatient physician practices or
• develop new hospitalist practices for hospitals, IPAs and health plans.

Briefly, our approach is the following:

• Create a structure that offers physicians equal ownership in the practice and the ability to participate in the decision-making process.
• Affiliate with other sites under the Galen organization to share economies of scale, best practices and the collegiality of a broader network.
• Incentivize physicians to grow the practice by rewarding them for quality of care productivity, cost containment and patient/physician satisfaction.
• Provide an array of superior management support services for our medical group practice sites.
• Maintain separate revenue and reimbursement by contract location to maximize growth and performance by site.
